Contest Rules and Policies
1. Program:
8:15am Teachers sign
in at the Theater and pick up information packets
8:30am Teachers receive additional instructions
9:00am
Start of Contest
Length of Contest 50 minutes
10:10 - 11:10am Explanation of the solution
11:30am Awards ceremony
Place: Santa Teresa High School (map)

2. Eligibility:
Students in the 7th
to 12th grades. The first 300 students in the 7th to 9th grades and the
first 160 students in the 10th to 12th grades will be eligible. Maximum
number of students from one school is 30 students.
3. Entry Requirement:
Each school
must submit 3 teacher made math contest problems with explanations of the
answers per grade level entered.
4. Complete and mail
the registration form (Word format) to:

Applications must
be received on or before January 8,
2008. Late applications will not be accepted. Please list
your phone number on the registration form.
A teacher from every school MUST accompany their students and sign in
representing their school no later than 8:30pm on the day of the contest.
Those students that attend the contest without an accompanying teacher will
be ineligible for awards. Parents will not be allowed as substitutes for
teachers. Teachers are required to assist in administrating and/or
grading the contest as assigned. After signing in, your school will receive
instructions for your students and teachers.
