On the date which marked the beginning of the forced relocation and internment of 120,000 Japanese Americans during WWII, and inspired by the true-life experiences of George Takei, Allegiance returns to cinemas nationwide to tell the incredible story of a family - much like George’s - whose lives were upended by the internment. Allegiance also stars Tony Award-winner, Lea Salonga (MISS SAIGON), and Broadway favorites, Telly Leung ("Glee", RENT) and Katie Rose Clarke (WICKED). The cinema event will feature an exclusive introduction from Takei, and - following the presentation - a special behind-the-scenes documentary with interviews with the cast and creators of the Broadway production.
